European database
Directive 2004/27/EC amending Directive 2001/83/EC on the Community code relating to medicinal products for human use and Directive 2004/28/EC amending Directive 2001/82/EC on the Community code relating to veterinary medicinal products introduce the legal framework for the Community database. The European database contains data of for manufacturing and import authorisations, certificates of good manufacturing practice (GMP) for approved manufacturing locations in the European Economic Area and data on GMP certificates for manufacturers in third countries.
