Relenza (zanamivir) shelf-life extended

The Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices approved extension of expiry date for the medicinal product Relenza (zanamivir) Inhalation Powder from 5 to 7 years.
As for the Relenza packagings already on the market, in line with the recommendations of the Co-ordination Group for Mutual Recognition and Decentralised Procedure – Human (CMDh), the Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices of the Republic of Croatia advises keeping them for two additional years after the 5-year expiry date specified on the packaging.
