Croatian Pharmacopoeia Supplement 3.5. available now

The new on-line Supplement 3.5 of the third Croatian Pharmacopoeia Edition is now available. This supplement is based on the fifth Supplement of the Eight European Pharmacopoeia Edition published on 1 January 2015, coming into effect on 1 July 2015. Corrected texts published in Ph. Eur. 8.5 come into effect when publically available. This time, in addition to revised texts we present a translation of a new informative chapter 5.23. Herbal extracts monographs.
As before, in the chapter Commentaries of revised texts published in the Supplement 8.5 of the Ph. Eur. you may find a brief overview of text changes published in this supplement.
As of this Supplement, Croatian Pharmacopoeia will no more publish Standard terms. Here you may find more information on the new Standard Terms Database.
In order to access freely to the Standard Terms Database, a registration should be made via EDQM webpages.
The supplement is enriched with a new monograph translation - acetylsalycilic acid. This is the continuation of supplementing Croatian Pharmacopoeia with monograph translations of mostly used active substances.
The Foreword of this Supplement also includes an overview on the two new European Pharmacopoeia policies:
- Ph. Eur. policy regarding bacterial endotoxin testing in pharmaceutical substances
- Ph. Eur. policy regarding the expression of degree of hydration.
Every supplement is a complete Croatian Pharmacopoeia edition with all novelties and corrections, or changes in the corresponding European Pharmacopoeia Supplement and it may be searched completely.
The annual license for accessing every Croatian Pharmacopoeia Edition and supplements that are published regularly is issued by the agency for Medicinal Products and Medical devices (HALMED). The price per license is 930.00 kn + TVA. Every license may be used on two computers.
The registration may be accessed via this link, by completing the requested form, based on which an offer is created. Once the payment has been completed according to this offer, the user will have access to the complete Pharmacopoeia edition. The notice on access activation will be sent by e-mail alongside with corresponding password.
After acceding Croatian Pharmacopoeia, the current edition/Supplement is opened automatically and all available editions/supplements with entire pharmacopoeia may be searched by clicking on the menu Edition in the Pharmacopoeia header.
