International Conference on Harmonisation with the EU Medical Devices Legislation

The Embassy of the French Republic in Croatia, the Croatian Pharmaceutical Society and the Croatian Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices organise an international conference on Harmonisation with the EU Medical Devices Legislation ("L’Harmonisation avec la législation européenne des dispositifs médicaux").

May 14-15, 2009, Hotel Medena in Seget Donji near Trogir

Whom is the Conference intended for?
• manufacturers of medical devices;
• medical devices registration holders;
• legal persons participating in the marketing of medical devices; and
• representatives of regulatory authorities

Official languages
• Official languages of the Conference are Croatian and French; simultaneous interpretation service will be provided.

Registration deadline is April 30, 2009 or until all the spaces are reserved.
The number of participants is limited so kindly register as soon as possible!
Registration fee for the Conference is HRK 2,000.00 + VAT, and includes coffee breaks, two working lunches, a tourist tour of Trogir, a conference diner and an attendance certificate.

Payment of registration fee
After registering, payment of the registration fee can be made solely on the basis of a pro-forma invoice which can be picked up in the office of the Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices (Accounting). Alternatively, the pro-forma invoice will be delivered by mail/fax to the contact designated in the registration form.
Proof of payment should be e-mailed to or faxed at: +385 1 4884 130, no later than April 30, 2009.

Cancellation period
If unable to attend, the registered participants should notify Mrs. Eva Zeidan (; fax: +385 1 4884 130), no later than May 7, 2009.

In case of cancellation or no-show, the cancellation/no-show charge will be calculated on the basis of the following schedule:
• in case of cancellation prior to May 7, 2009, the registration fee is fully refundable;
• in case of cancellation after May 7, 2009, the Organiser will retain 30 percent of the registration fee; and
• in case of no-show: the Organiser will retain 100 percent of the registration fee.

The registration fee does not cover accomodation costs. A certain number of rooms in Hotel Medena in Seget Donji has been reserved for the Conference participants. In order to confirm the reservation, please contact Hotel Medena no later than May 1, 2009, on the numbers/addresses below:
